The 2019 AAHS Careers Expo

After many years of success of the Careers Expo and combined with positive feedback from the industry and students, we are delighted to confirm this year’s expo will be held at Sydney Town Hall on Tuesday 30th April 2019 from 9.30am till 12.30pm.

The Association of Australian Hotel Schools (AAHS) was founded in 2001 and consisted of seven of Australia’s leading hotel schools who share common aims and objectives in promoting education and training in hospitality and tourism.

To industry exhibitors, AAHS 2019 is your opportunity to meet with current students and recent graduates in one day in one location. To AAHS students this career expo is a great opportunity for you to strengthen your own personal hospitality network. Who knows – you may even gain an interview on the day and may secure a new employer.

As AAHS Organising Committee we are committed to continuing with our annual Hospitality & Tourism Careers Expo where our mission has always been “to bring together the AAHS students and graduates with the leading national and multinational hotel and tourism operators”.

We take the pleasure of inviting you once again to be involved with this year’s event by hosting a stand, promoting your organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with current students and recent graduates in one day, in one location.

Important Dates to Remember:

Day of the Careers Expo: Tuesday 30 April 2019
Last day to Register: Tuesday 9 April 2019
Last day to submit company information: Friday 12 April 2019

AAHS Registration Terms and Conditions

All registrations are binding. Any name changes or cancellations can only be accepted by email. Name changes cannot be made after 4.00pm on Friday 12th April 2019.

Confirmation of your attendance will only be completed once full payment has been received. Payment must be made within 10 working days of the invoice date of issue.

On confirmation of registration, an exhibitor information template will be sent to the nominated contact person for completion. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure the template is completed and returned by the due date. Failure to do so will result in that exhibitor’s information NOT being included in the expo booklet.

Exhibitors must also abide by the AAHS Recruitment Code of Conduct. The code of conduct can be viewed here: AAHS Recruitment Code of Practice (pdf/85kb)

Photographs will be taken on the day and may be included in future promotional materials if you don’t agree please get in touch with the organiser (Michael Ghazi).


The following package cancellation fees will apply and Exhibitor listing and advertising will also be forfeited

  • Before 9 April 2019 – 50%
  • After 9 April 2019 – 100%

For exhibitors who choose to only advertise and/or list in the expo booklet the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • 100% at all times
